Abstraction

I recently had a breakthrough in my art style and thematic direction. I work primarily in acrylic and oil on canvas, starting from chaotic and emphatic brushstrokes. I find and react to elements in the paintings to pursue whatever theme I decided to give my attention to for that work.

Recently, I have been diving into themes of duality.

Life and Death.
Light and Dark.
Age and Youth. 

Most of my recent works are inspired by these dualities and contain spiritual influences.

I fully believe that the act of painting is an act of worship. A way for me to point to the beauty of life, creation and God’s glory.
